KCSDC Mission Statement
| The K. C. Swing Dance Club, Inc. (KCSDC) is intended to unite Kansas City area dancers who are interested in learning and dancing the West Coast style of Swing dance in a social setting. The KCSDC offers encouragement and support to competitive dancers and is operated on a not for profit (but for fun!) basis.

Join local West Coast Swing dancers at The Marriott Hotel's 12th Street Lounge, 200 West 12th Street, Kansas City, Missouri every Tuesday night at 8:00PM. This event is sponsored by The Cowtown Swing Dance Club. It a great place for new and experienced daners to meet for a fun night of social dancing. Parking is FREE with validation.

Learn to Line Dance to Country and Pop music from "Denim and Diamonds" instructor Kathy Sappington.
You'll have lots of fun learning dances like "The Cowboy Boogie", "Dizzy" and "Cinco De Mayo" to today's Pop music and all your Country favorites!
Couples and Singles welcome. Some dance experience is helpful, but not necessary. Class material will start with the basics and proceed to an intermediate level.
This 4 week series will be held on Thursday October 6TH through the 27TH from 6:30PM to 7:30PM.
Registration for the full series is required. Cost is $20.00 for club members or $28.00 for non members.

Are you tired of going to company parties and weddings and watching while everyone else dances? Well, we have just the thing for you!
Couples and singles are invited to learn 2 Step and Basic East Coast Swing dances from 7:00PM - 8:00PM in this 8 week series of progressive classes taught by Mike Brenton, each Wednesday night beginning September 21st.
No pre registration is required, just show up! Each class builds on the material in previous sessions, but if you miss one, NO BIG DEAL, we always review.
No experience is necessary, Mike will help build your confidence and develop a basic repertoireso that you'll feel comfortable on the dance floor.
Cost is $4 for club members or $6 for non-members, per session.

Come hone your skills or learn something new! Every Wednesday, starting July 13th.
The Kansas City Swing Dance Club will have an open night for Lindy Hop practice and casual dancing for all levels and ages.
It's like a skate park for swing dancers!
Just drop in and mingle with others who are swing-dance enthusiasts, no matter what your style.
Only $4 dollars to use this great, air-conditioned dance studio. Music will play from 8 PM - 11 PM.
PLUS, we'll have new and vintage swing videos playing on the large projection screen for your viewing pleasure.

The cost is a mere $5.00 per person, and that covers you for the lesson AND the dance!!!
We offer a basic Swing dance lesson from 7:30-8:30
then from 8:30-11:30, it's open dancing in this air-conditioned club.

Dance moved to Friday May, 20th

The KCSDC monthly Friday dance party has been moved from its regular fourth Friday date FOR MAY ONLY to this Friday, May 20, 2005, due to the Memorial Day holiday.
Mike Brenton is the guest DJ this month and will play a variety of music – mostly WCS, with others as requested.
Our Friday nights are picking up in attendance and it's a great time to practice dancing socially. We'd love to see you there -
