KCSDC Mission Statement
| The K. C. Swing Dance Club, Inc. (KCSDC) is intended to unite Kansas City area dancers who are interested in learning and dancing the West Coast style of Swing dance in a social setting. The KCSDC offers encouragement and support to competitive dancers and is operated on a not for profit (but for fun!) basis.

Boppin' Balboa Basics!

Another classic but lesser known swing dance from the 1930's/1940's, Balboa has increased in popularity in recent years, so much so that major swing dance camps have dedicated entire weekends to it. Want to know more? Come learn from Ed Schlittenhardt.

Kansas City Swing Dance Club Fees:

Annual membership dues are $ 20 per person, with renewals due every 12 months.
Sunday and Wednesday West Coast Swing lessons cost $4 for members and $6 for non-members.
Monday and Thursday Specialty lessons are $4 for one session or $6 for both sessions on the same evening with non-members paying $6 for a single session and $8 for both sessions.
Wednesday Specialty classes are $4 for each hour for members and $6 each hour for non-members.

General Membership Meeting / Elections has been scheduled for Sunday, February 20, 2005 at 3:30 PM. Meeting will be followed by Open Dancing. We need a clubhouse full of members to be present as a quorum to vote for the nominees. Your dues must be up-to-date to be able to vote.

Extend your New Years celebration at The Kansas City Swing Jam!
And don't forget that before each monthly Kansas City Swing Jam (1st Saturday of the month), there is a
FREE (with paid dance admission) Swing Dance Lesson from 7:30-8:30pm
followed by open dancing from 8:30-11:30pm
