by Sue Williamson, Activities Director We're off to a Big start for the coming year! Mark your calendars for April 23 for the "Meet me in St. Louis" party at the clubhouse. Why St. Louis? Because Tim Auclair from St. Louis will be here conducting the weekend workshop. This guy is cool! Our parties are starting to take on a routine now with a theme, snacks, and activities with good dance music, so let's look at what will be different about this party this time. First there will be a Jack & Jill contest - one for novice and one for advanced - judged by Tim with trophies for the winners. Second, there will be a raffle ($1 per ticket) for a FREE hour lesson with Tim. Pretty good, huh? The new Activities Committee is giving a lot of extra time and attention by each member to making this party and every event this year productive and fun, so give it back to them, club members, by coming and participating and having fun!
Help the Activities Comittee plan a big Y2K New Year's Eve party this year! They need to know just how big they can go! Please take a few minutes to fill in the survey enclosed in your copy of FootNotes which was mailed to you and mail it or bring it to the clubhouse. Just answer honestly, but please only fill in ONE form per member or the Activities Committee won't be able to get a true representation of our membership. Thanks for your time and input. Remember, this is your club and we're trying to make your dues work for you! |
